Intro: Jesus’ Birth in light of two other births.
The miracles of three births: sinners- John 3:6, Saviors- John 3:16, and 2nd birth- John 3:7.

I.   The evil of the sinner’s birth, see John 3:1 and John 3:3-4.
A. Man is born spiritually separated. Our 2nd birth immediately changes that.
B. Man is born spiritually sinful, see John 3:6.
C. Man is born spiritually sightless, see John 3:3.

II.  The end of the Savior’s Birth, see John 3:2. Nicodemus knew that God was with Jesus but not that Jesus was God in the flesh.
A. Christ came to provide a ministry of redemption. See John 3:16, Romans 6:23, Leviticus 17:11 and Hebrews 9:22.
B. Christ came to provide a ministry of revelation. See John 3:19, John 1:1, John 1:14 and John 1:18.
* Jesus came to explain the Heart of God.

III. The essentiality of the 2nd birth. See John 3:3, John 3:5 and John 3:7.
A. The command to be born again. See Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 Corinthians 1:17.
* To be born of water does not mean baptism rather a reference to physical birth. Baptism is a good thing.
B. The channel to be born again. See Numbers 21:4-9, John 3:14-16 and Acts 20:28.

Personal Application:

1. You can’t claim anything you want and be born again.

2. Jesus became Son of man so we can be sons/daughters of God! See Luke 1:35

3. What will you do with Christ?
* Submit to the Lordship of Christ for Him to be your Savior—or reject Him, see John 3:36.
