I will not remember every name, but I found myself learning enough that I will be going back to these chapters.
Thank you for another clear exegesis of Scripture.

I am always encouraged to see God using ordinary sinful men similar to me for His work. Every day is an opportunity that it is my turn to step up when He calls.

Thank you for helping me see more. It often amazes me, after some not too insignificant teaching in my early years, after reading scripture so many times, and after hearing so many sermons previously elsewhere covering at least some of the text on Sundays, today being a classic example, how much more that I learn. It sometimes strikes me as sad that I have not had the knowledge earlier in life, but that is balanced by the happiness that I finally get it--in God's own good time.

As a layman, I do understand the chemical process of diffusion. However, I suspect that there must be some kind of special separation between mother and child.
Aside from that, thank you so much for the explanation of "born of water". This is so obvious now that you pointed it out to me. I've stumbled over this when questioned in the past. Maybe more thanks are due for helping me appreciate the love of God ever more and more.

Whereas the blood of the fetus does not mix with the blood of the mother, substances are exchanged by diffusion and active transport through the placenta and this is indeed the means by which a pregnant woman may pass germs that cause infectious diseases on to her unborn baby, as in the case of the AIDS virus and other diseases.

Interesting point for me was that an AIDS mother does not share her blood with the child. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your efforts.

Thank you for driving home the lesson that I am on the front lines of the battle with Satan every moment of every day that I wake up...that I must pray for the armor of God...and testify boldly.

Thank you for these timely topics. The communication industry, including newspapers and the history channel, etc., are frequently including the evolution theory as fact...and as science. In discussions with educated but lost acquaintances, I have used many of the same Biblical facts that you used. Also, I have tried to show them how scientists deviate from the scientific method to prove their beliefs about evolution. In addition to your additional facts, your organized approach hopefully will help in future discussions to rattle their confidence in evolution to show them the magnificence and handiwork of God as revealed to us in the Scriptures.

I have really enjoyed the series on Philippians. I believe this has been my favorite Book so far. Yesterday (07/26) in your sermon you mentioned a poem (when I was twenty, etc...). Who wrote that? It really stuck in my mind and I want to get a copy. Thanks!

Thank you so much for these notes. I am rarely sick but was yesterday and missed service. This particular topic is close to me, since the event of Christ's washing the disciples' feet is what touched me to turn my life around.
