Intro: Paul speaks to King Agrippa. The only one free is the one in chains (Paul) Acts 26:2 and Acts 26:29.
I. To become a Christian one must be convinced about Christ, Acts 26:22-23.
A. A Christian must be convinced of Christ’s voluntary death, Hebrews 10:5-7. Isaiah 53:10.
John 10:17-18.
B. A Christian must be convinced of Christ’s vicarious (suffered in place of another) death,
Isaiah 53:6. 2 Corinthians 5:21.
C. A Christian must be convinced of Christ’s victorious resurrection.
First to rise and First to proclaim salvation, Acts 26:23.
II. To become a Christian one must be convicted by Christ, Acts 26:17-18.
A. Conviction is not simply admitting you are a sinner, Acts 26: 26-28.
B. Conviction is not simply feeling sorry for what your sins have done.
C. Conviction is understanding that you have offended God, Psalm 51:4.
III. To become a Christian one must be converted to Christ.
A. Conversion will show itself in your walk, Acts 26:18-20.
B. Conversion will show itself in your talk, Acts 26:25-26.
Personal:
1. Can NOT remain neutral.
2. Can you conceive you have done something wrong?
3. The Spirit of God is knocking, Acts 26:27-28.
The time is now to make a decision for Christ.
