Intro: When He comes we should want to hear ’Well done, good and faithful servant!’ Matthew 25:21.
I. We are to be ready for His coming- Revelation 22:20. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here- Romans 13:12. The Judge is standing at the door! James 5:8-9. 1 John 2:18 and Matthew 24:44 - So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
A. We should look sensibly- 1 Peter 4:7. (use sound judgment).
B. We should look soberly- 1 Peter 4:7. (Have a watchful mind) 2 Peter 3:10-11.
C. We should watch and pray- Mark 14:38 and Colossians 4:2.
II. We are to be loving at His coming- 1 Peter 4:8. (Lawlessness is self-centered. Love is God-centered) 2 Thessalonians 2:10-13.
A. We are to have a love that is fervent- John 13:35.
B. We are to have a love that is forgiving- Proverbs 10:8,12 and 1 Corinthians 13:6.
C. We are to have a love that is friendly- 1 Peter 4:9 and Luke 14:12-14.
III. We are to be laboring when He comes- 1 Peter 4:10-11.
A. We are to know our gifts- Romans 12:1-3.
B. We are to use our gifts- Romans 12:5.
C. We are to glorify God with our gifts- 1 Peter 4:11.
Personal: Put your feet in action using what you’ve learned in Bible study. We should remember to end our prayers: Amen, Come, Lord Jesus- Revelation 22:20.

I tremble with expectaion because I believe Jesus come again soon and before that that the rapture. What a triumphant return Jesus has planned and as his servants we will experience in it with Him.
